Looking for plants and flowers for your little apartment garden. Head off to Cartimar. Not only can you finds shoes, fruits, pets and bicycles along the multitude of stores at Cartimar, you will also get some of the cheapest and rarest flowers and plants in the half-dozen or so garden shops. Cactus can be bought for 3 pieces per Php100. Prices of flowering plants range from a low of Php30 while bonsai’s could cost you up to thousands of pesos....

During the World Pyro Olympics last month, we chanced upon Iceberg at the Esplanade along the Macapagal Highway. Since traffic is at a stand-still, I thought a nice bowl of ice cream or halo-halo special would be nice.
