After the 2006 Philippine Badminton Open, the next big tournament to happen is the MVP Cup 2006. Watch the Asian champions battle the European team on July 14-16, 2006 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Presented by PLDT and Smart, MVP 2006 will feature an all star team fielded by the Asian Badminton Confederation (ABC) in a battle not only for prestige but also for the prize money, against an all star team to be fielded by the European Badminton Union.

Our very own Kenny and Kennevic Asuncion is Asia’s bet in the mixed doubles category. They will be going up against Thomas Layborn and Kamila Juhl who are currently ranked at no.10 in the mixed category.
