I am a lot owner in The Lakeshore community. I was one of the first buyers back in 2001. After 8 years now, there are less than 12 families actually residing in the community. After 8 years, there isn't a Clubhouse or ballroom, no church, and MANY other things have YET to be developed. Sales have dropped to zero and MANY owners are either trying to sell their house/lot or have simply stop paying on the property they purchased. Brokers do not even attend the monthly meetings anymore. There are reports of managment, contractors, and such using money and materials purchased for personal use. The property values are set by The Lakeshore which are obviously over-valued (i.e. they say and sell them for far more than they are actually worth). If you are a property owner and want to get your own Title, it can take a year to two years to get it since The Lakeshore. This may be because they are having trouble paying their mortagage and until the bank gets their money, the Titles will not be released... Think twice before buying at The Lakeshore. It COULD be a great place to live, but it looks as if has fallen victim to greedy hands... should we rename it The Fakeshore?
