If you’re getting married sometime later this year or in the next year, the Philippine Wedding Summit 2006, to be held June 3rd to 4th, 2006, might be an interesting expo to visit.

When my wife and I got married, it was more of a referral thing, with most of our wedding preparations done with a bit of help from friends and relatives, getting good leads on every aspect from the photographer, to the church, to the band, to the flowers, to the reception. Of course, getting lost while driving through rustic places in Manila (Intramuros, Quiapo, etc.) also helped.

It’s always great to get into an adventure in hunting for wedding suppliers. But one-stop-shops and expos like this Summit would also be great in getting good leads. Or maybe life is just too hectic for you to spend weeks on end searching for the perfect place for a reception, or couturier for the entourage.

Or maybe you haven’t even found your perfect match. Who knows? You might meet someone at a wedding expo!

At any rate, if you’re visiting Robinson’s Galleria on those days, you might want to check it out, as the mall’s directly connected to the hotel ballrooms/expo halls.
