Philippines-Japan Friendship Year Opens with “Taiko! Tambol!”
The Japan Foundation, Manila and Philippine Airlines launch Taiko! Tambol!” at the Cultural Center of the Philippines - Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo tonight at 7:30 pm.

The program features Yamato, The Drummers of Japan, an ensemble of taiko drummers. Taiko drums are among the many instruments used in performing Japanese ceremonies and special occasions.
