Ballet Philippines Gives an Angel His Wings

Ballet Philippines stages “An Angel Earns His Wings”, the company’s light-hearted Christmas offering meant for kids of all ages. Angel tells the story of Mikey, a mischievous angel who unwittingly falls from the edge of the clouds down onto earth where he meets and falls in love with Mikaela, a pretty schoolgirl who reciprocates his affection in a way he does not expect. While on earth, he sees people only with a playful eye as he wanders about his merry ways after Mikaela leaves him.

Along the way, he meets a party of beachgoers, but the fun unexpectedly ends when the rains fall and Mike finds himself alone again. In his solitude, he learns to look at the world around him differently. He meets Mikaela for the second time and their meeting becomes an occasion for the angel to serenade his muse. (At this part of the program the audience was even invited to sing along to Mikey’s “When You Say Nothing at All”.)

Still, Mikaela does not yied and so Mikey finds himself abandoned once again just when he has learned the meaning of true love. While nursing his broken heart, he crosses paths with the handicapped boy whom he fails to help on their first meeting. But this time, Mikey gives a gift to the boy who eventually learns how to walk without the help of crutches, as if by magic.

All these do not go unnoticed by the angels from heaven. His change of heart is rewarded with a pair of wings and he flies back to heaven with the bevy of angels who are the same party at the beach.

The Christmas season often calls for merry performances and Ballet Philippines has effectively danced a heartwarming story, made more refreshing by a surprise live serenade towards the end of the program. But whether singing, romancing or dancing their funny antics, the company obviously enjoyed entertaining the audience by giving a world-class performance. Yet again.

Hi

Here’s a quick video I made to show off the Dervish’s dance from the guildwars nightfall weekend.
The dance the Dervish does is the same one that Christoper Walken did in the video for Fatboy Slims’ - Weapon of choice music video (hence the music used)

What do you think about it?

They prohibit underaged players to access the site and they set spending limits. All is done in order for the players to understand that sports betting can easily get out of hand and you end up spending much more than you wished for, without gaining extraordinary amounts.

I used to use the Miracle prepaid int’l call card. It gave me around 4 1/2 hours of calling the US from Korea for 24,000. Anyone know of anything cheaper (and good)?
