Debenhams at the Shang

Share

Next to Marks and Spencer, Debenhams is now one of the shops I love to shop in at the Shangri-la’s Level 3.   Debenhams as you know is  one of Britain’s household name.  Like any department stores, Debenhams carries international brands like John Rocha and Betty Jackson, mixed with its in-house portfolio brands such as Red Herring and Pineapple.

What I love about Debenhams is the extensive collection of undergarments for ladies and their clothing lines for children.  Their selection of kids clothing is not only hip, but its also superior.  They are not only nice to look at, but the quality is good.  I cannot wait to shop for my children’s clothes soon!

I have checked Debenhams’ website and discovered their Collect in Store Trial, which means that anything purchased online can be delivered to any Debenhams Store of your choice, without any delivery charge!  Hmmm, I would like to try that option one of these days…

Debenhams is another venture by the Stores Specialists Inc., the same company who brought Starbucks, Marks and Spencer and Homme and Femme in the Philippines.

The ‘Designers @ Debenhams’ ranges are really good when it comes to price, but they are mass produced and quality is nothing like what actually designers, like Matthew Williamson, showcase in their own design houses. Their demographic is obviously for working women and not very updated. Although, Pineapple is for teens the quality is absurd from own experience of course. Not everything is negative though, the Red Herring brand offer top quality basics with reasonable prices. The Debut range for weddings and special ocassions give you your money’s worth although not very creative. All of the opinions from a regular shopper.
