Flower shopping at Cartimar
Looking for plants and flowers for your little apartment garden. Head off to Cartimar. Not only can you finds shoes, fruits, pets and bicycles along the multitude of stores at Cartimar, you will also get some of the cheapest and rarest flowers and plants in the half-dozen or so garden shops.
Cactus can be bought for 3 pieces per Php100. Prices of flowering plants range from a low of Php30 while bonsai’s could cost you up to thousands of pesos. Don’t be afraid to haggle with the prices though. The sales ladies will surely give you some discounts, esp. if they’re about to close for the day. Check out the beautifully crafted water fountains as well.
Don’t always buy the first thing you see. Scout around some more and always ask fro prices first so you can compare from shop to shop. Then ask how the plants should be taken cared of, or if they are indoor or outdoors, or how much sun light they need during the day.
