SM North EDSA: 3rd Largest Mall in the World

The SM North EDSA in Quezon City has just displaced the SM Mall of Asia as the third largest mall in the world in terms of floor space.

This went out as the Annex of the SM North was opened a couple of weeks ago after an expansion work was done.

The new floors make the existing complex, SM City North Edsa, the third largest globally with 4.5 million square feet (425,000 square meters) of shops, food courts and supermarkets under one roof, said operator SM Prime Holdings Inc.

Every now and then, I’d pass by this area and see how wide the mall really is. You should see it at night, it’s really something to look at. They adapted the nature theme too along the walks, so it looks like an ayala architecture.
